Dr. Theresa Pesl Murphrey
Dr. Theresa Pesl Murphrey is Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Agricultural Education and Special Assistant to the Executive Associate Dean at Texas A&M University. She serves as an active member of the faculty conducting research and development efforts related to technology-enhanced education strategies and learner-centered instructional design. Dr. Murphrey also supports the Executive Associate Dean in the area of Technology Enhanced Education by assisting in the implementation of strategic plans to facilitate the delivery of courses via the Internet and serves as the representative for the American Distance Education Consortium. She has served as the Co-Investigator, and/or Project Co-Director for five research and development projects. Projects have included work with the Inter-American Institute for the Cooperation on Agriculture (San Jose, Costa Rica) and the International Potato Center, (Lima, Peru). Dr. Murphrey has lead development efforts of nine multimedia educational products. Dr. Murphrey holds degrees in Agricultural Development and Agricultural Education from Texas A&M University.
