H.B. Zachry Company, San Antonio, Texas

The TECH Training Group, Inc. has provided assistance in the development of distance learning to managers at this large construction company. Additionally, instruction in distance learning methodologies has been provided to the Associated General Contractors, through H.B. Zachry Company.

There are four community colleges campuses within the Alamo Community College District that deliver workforce development programs. It was the intent of the District to combine these efforts into a district-wide initiative so all the colleges could respond to employer needs and requests in one voice. The TECH Training Group, Inc. was retained by the Chancellor of the Alamo Community College District to investigate, through gap analysis strategies, what was currently being delivered, what should be delivered (which included a future forecast) and to develop a plan of action to achieve these goals.

The TECH Training Group, Inc. has provided numerous training sessions for the Alliance as they train the majority of their faculty in course conversion and understanding of differing learning strategies and adult learning theories.

The TECH Training Group, Inc. was retained to deliver a 40-hour, one-week training program to soldiers and civilians who were using telecommunications in their training. This course covered materials conversion as well as instructional design strategies for teaching and learning at a distance.

Inter-American Institute for Cooperation in Agriculture

The TECH Training Group, Inc. has been retained to deliver 40-hour training programs and other workshops on numerous occasions to professionals in agriculture in San Jose, Costa Rica. This session covered learner-centered instructional design and the application of distance learning principles to international agriculture.

Northern Arizona University

The TECH Training Group, Inc. was retained to work with faculty in the College of Education to assist in the adoption of technology and training in learning strategies and courseware conversion.

The University of Arkansas

The TECH Training Group, Inc. was retained to deliver a training program to faculty in adult education and human resource development in Little Rock, Arkansas. This session instructed faculty on the essentials for teaching via videoconferencing.

Kuta, Bali

The TECH Training Group, Inc. was retained to deliver a training program in management and leadership development for Community Development to executives.

The Saudi Arabian Oil Company - Dhahran, Saudi Arabia

The TECH Training Group, Inc. was retained by Saudi Aramco to deliver several training programs to curriculum designers, instructors/trainers, and managers. Topics covered included training & development, e-learning, adoption of e-learning and critical issues facing training departments in the near future.
